BAHA'I historyBaha'i faith is relatively new, made in Iran in 1844. It was founded by Mirza Hoseyn 'Ali Nuri, who is known as Baha'u'llah. Baha'is roots are from Shi'ite Islam. Before Mirza died he gave leadership of Baha'i to his eldest son, 'Abd ol-Baha. Today there are more than 7 million followers worldwide. They follow a book called Kitáb-i-Aqdas, or the book of laws.
